QR codes frequently used in Austin

QR codes are all around us at the convention centre. Our badges havethem sothat we caneasily scan each others badges to share contact information.
Many advertisers and posters use the to easily link to more information on the net.
Just heard on the TV that the city of Austin uses QRcodes on historical landmarks to [...]

That game feels nice

That game feels nice sounded real good but in the end it was pretty mediocre seminar at most. Sure it was fun to hear about how Microsoft and Fuel cooporated to make four games but the talk lacked detail and problemsolving and didnt actually give us any particular tools apart from the very obvious ones [...]

Screenburn

À dark room full of games (almost) is what screenburn is. The first exhibitor is Mayfair games. For those that dont know it, Mayfair games is a boardgame company that only produces physical games. I asked about why thry attend this fair and the reason is basically that they think that real-life games hsve lots [...]

Pen and papertools

This was basically exactly what Lars session at home was about. Nice to see that its not just in his head these ideas exist. Just kissing. All in all a good seminar and very nice activities.
