Futures of Leading a Regenerative Work Life

March 14, 2025

9 am — 12 pm

In this workshop we will explore how workplaces and professional environments can develop to promote physical and mental wellbeing while contributing to a sustainable future within planetary boundaries. During the session you will gain insights into how our everyday practices have an impact on the individual wellbeing as well as on the environment. We will explore emerging trends and signals shaping our future work lives and collaboratively envision how we can align personal, organizational, and environmental wellbeing through sustainable and regenerative work.

In the workshop we will explore questions such as:

  • What past, current, and emerging work practices, such as remote work, flexible schedules, and the increased use of AI tools, can have an impact on the individual's health and wellbeing?
  • What might a regenerative worklife look like in 2040?
  • How might a professional neighborhood in Malmö support this?

Context

This workshop is part of The Future is Here - A fast track from imagining to implementing regenerative futures. In this initiative, as part of Shift Sweden, Media Evolution, Dark Matter Labs and The City of Malmö’s Generate District development initiative, invite various stakeholders to explore and envision how we can transform towards regenerative and decarbonised neighborhoods by re-imagining the relationship between work, work places and the built environment.
