At The Conference 2016 Indy Johar gave a cherries presentation on Democratizing Cities – methods, materials and language for democracy beyond the vote. Looking back it is more relevant than ever. So in the spring 2025 we are conducting a Collaborative Foresight cycle on Futures of Urban Digital Layers in which this seminar is a part.

The seminar and Collaborative Foresight cycle builds on collaborative work Media Evolution has conducted in the past years including The Futures we Build, Futures of Wise Cities and lectures by Nick Dunn (Envisioning Futures of the Built Environment), Deb Chachra (Transforming our Built Environment) and plenty of The Conference talks.

We are inviting tech developers, UX people, architects, sociologists and urban planners – representatives of industry as well as academics. Speakers to be announced soon.
